Babson College ranked number one for undergraduate entrepreneurship program

Updated: Friday, August 28th, 2009

For the 13th consecutive year a Wellesley, Massachusetts, college has been named the top school to offer a bachelors program in entrepreneurship studies.

Babson College was thus recognized by the prestigious annual U.S. News & World Report ranking, which also includes the University of Pennsylvania and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the top five.

In addition, Babson was ranked number 25 in the Best Business Program and number 23 in the International Business category.

"Recognition like this is only achieved through the extraordinary effort and commitment of every member of our community - including our world-class faculty, our dedicated staff and our outstanding students," says Dennis Hanno, dean of the undergraduate school.

"What is great about Babson is its unwavering dedication to providing the best entrepreneurship and business education in the world," he adds.

Well-regarded undergraduate programs prepare students to be accepted to MBA programs at a top business school. This, in turn, may lead to lucrative careers as PayScale.com estimates that average salaries for holders of MBA degrees ranged from $73,510 to $171,583 in 2008.
