Simmons School of Management's entrepreneurship program named as one of the

Entrepreneur magazine and the Princeton Review have placed the MBA program in entrepreneurship at Simmons School of Management on its list of the top 25 graduate programs in the country.
The two publications surveyed more than 2300 schools to develop their rankings. Their criteria included teaching business fundamentals in the classroom, staffing with successful entrepreneurs, and availability of entrepreneurial programs outside of class.
Simmons' ranking was achieved by its offering of a live case study methodology, an entrepreneur-in-residence program, its Silverman business plan competition, a mentoring program and a practicum matching students with entrepreneurs working on high-profile projects.
Deborah Merrill-Sands, dean of the Simmons School of Management, attributes this recognition to the program's "engagement of entrepreneurs and experts in fields such as law, finance and strategy to ensure a real-world, intense learning experience."
The entire list is published in the current issue of Entrepreneur.
PayScale.com, a research company, says that average salaries for holders of MBA degrees ranged from $73,510 to $171,583 in 2008, depending on the field, position and years of experience.
